Our Core Building Team has started a blog for everyone to keep updated with what is happening and ways to volunteer with our future New Hope location. The Lord has begun an amazing adventure for our church. Read about the journey He led us on a few months ago. We are amazed at this provision and expectant to continue to see Him lead our church. Read all about it on our blog... http://nhbuilding.blogspot.com/

Grant and Annika Stucky are directing the Christmas Program this year, and are excited to try a new and meaningful Christmas musical called, "Carriers of the Light"! If your child is interested in singing and performing in the Christmas Program, please sign up using the paper form on the KidsLIFE table or follow the link to the Google Form. Grades 2-6 are welcome, and there will be an opportunity for our younger children, as well. The performance is on December 9th in the evening at the New Hope Christmas Celebration. Wonderful time kicking off our Women's Ministry before Church last Sunday!! Great encouragement to have time as women meeting new friends and connecting with one another. Our hope is for the Lord to deepen our heart connections as women and together bring glory to His name!

We are excited at New Hope to connect community members (whether our singles, couples or families) with our college students. Adopt-A-Student is to give students a home to be a part of during their college years in MHK. Our desire is give the students connection with community members in the same field of study as they walk closely with the Lord in the "real world". We hope this will help them in the transition following graduation to have a vision for their life entering into the 'real world' to continue to glorify the Lord.

Our first annual Family Day was a blast! From the food to the blow ups to the bubbles to the time catching up with each other and meeting new friends. The Lord has done great things! As our Pastor Dick shared as part of his message today we want to grow in thinking beyond ourselves to invest our lives in the emerging generations for all to walk in His good ways for our lives and those following us to glorify His name. Thankful for the day of celebrating our Summer KidsLIFE and sermon series on The Colorful Life of King David!

The Fusion youth just returned from an incredible week at Super Summer. Our B.L.A.S.T. team managed to come home with a gold medal for their victories in the camp games, but the true victory belongs to the LORD. While at camp, 18 students prayed to receive Christ, and one of those was a young gal, McKenzie, that came along with our group. Many of the other students also felt a deeper desire for God and His word, as they worked on developing the discipline of a quiet time at camp, some for the first time.

Pray for our Fusion Director, Joe and his leaders and our 18 boys and 14 girls attending Super Summer this week! Pray for their hearts to be sensitive to all the Lord is doing in their lives this week. Pray that His Word will not return void without accomplishing much in each of their lives. Pray for the Spirit to guide our leaders as they shepherd our youth.

Join us for our Summer Sermon series! We are excited to be studying the Life of King David in both our Central Gathering and KidsLIFE. This will be a wonderful opportunity to engage as families during the week with the Gospel as we all study the same truths.

We are excited to announce the hiring of our New Fusion Director, Joe Catterson. Joe and his wife, Olivia and son, Liam moved to Manhattan a year ago. Joe graduated from University of Kansas in Secondary Education. Joe grew up in Manhattan going to New Hope. He joined the Fusion youth at 11 years old and after being poured into by the Fusion staff accepted Jesus as His Lord and Savior when he was 16 years old. Since moving back to Manhattan, Joe has volunteered with Fusion investing in our youth.
