Doug Mericle has been around New Hope since 2019. He and his wife have served faithfully through their time at New Hope with KidsLIFE, communion, security, the pastor search team, serving breakfast, and been a part of a LIFE group. Doug works at Evergy as Sr. Directory of Combustion Turbines and Renewables.

Doug is married to his wife, Lisa, and they have four children, Aden, Cody, Conor, and Makayla.Doug and Lisa have both enjoyed how welcoming and genuine the congregation at New Hope is, as well as being Biblically founded and mission focused.
